IMPACTING CANCER THROUGH COLLABORATION

MICN creates a platform whereby partners around the state can develop collaborative and innovative projects that reduce the burden of cancer in Maine

What is Maine's Impact Cancer Network?

Maine’s Impact Cancer Network (MICN), the state’s cancer coalition, is a 500-member effort dedicated to reducing the impact of cancer on individuals and communities in Maine through collaboration and systems improvement.

The coalition hosts topic-based Task Forces, including:

  • Association of Maine Cancer Support Centers.

  • Cancer and Obesity

  • Cancer and Alcohol

  • LGBTQ+ Advisory Group

  • Prevention and Early Detection

  • Rehabilitation and Survivorship

  • Transportation

MICN creates a platform whereby partners around the state can develop collaborative and innovative projects that reduce the burden of cancer in Maine. Members of this group have the opportunity to work collectively on strategies aligned with their own work and the Maine Cancer Plan 2021-2025.

Strategic oversight and guidance is provided by a group of individuals on the Leadership Roundtable.
