We are excited to welcome Christopher J. Recklitis as our keynote speaker!
Christopher J. Recklitis, Ph.D., MPH is Director of Research and Support Services for the Perini Family Survivors Center at Dana-Farber, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He completed his clinical psychology training at Boston University, and his Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Recklitis has provided behavioral health care for both pediatric and adult cancer survivors at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 1997. His research focuses on understanding the psychological late-effects of cancer, the development of screening measures for detecting distress, and the best methods for encouraging health promoting behaviors in cancer survivors.
He is the Principal Investigator of Project REACH, a longitudinal study of health outcomes in several hundred locally treated cancer survivors. His research has been supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute and several foundations. Currently, he leads two clinical trials testing brief online behavioral interventions for insomnia in cancer survivors.
